Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Beetje Moe Re-United's Serge Schophuis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Helwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barry Zandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Edwin Helwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Jan Schenning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Edwin Helwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Helwig came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Helwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Schenning kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Edwin Helwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. After 33rd play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Edwin Helwig and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Beetje Moe Re-United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roderick Israel to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Daniel Zorita led 40 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Edwin Helwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Helwig came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edwin Helwig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Edwin Helwig in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st match minute, Beetje Moe Re-United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Zandberg to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Edwin Helwig made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Edwin Helwig in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Edwin Helwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Beetje Moe Re-United made a substitution. Ivo Mastebroek replaced Roger de Zaaijer. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 88 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Edwin Helwig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Beetje Moe Re-United throughout the match.
