In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Diablofaryd F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Pedro Indiano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 55 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Indiano came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lacasa to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th match minute, Diablofaryd F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Mena to maneuver through the defense. The Diablofaryd F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
