Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Serafin Toribio kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Toribio in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Mauro Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to All Boys getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Teodosio Viator hit a great ball. All Boys's Mauro Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the All Boys defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Montay. The All Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Montay should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Eduardo Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Montay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, All Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Toribio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the All Boys defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Montay. The All Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Montay should have stopped the shot. In the 25th match minute, All Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Illan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced All Boys's goalkeeper Mauro Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mauro Montay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 33 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Montay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Filomeno Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Maule charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Maule the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when All Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Montay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mauro Montay made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro Montay. That made the score 0-5 after 59 minutes of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All Boys made a substitution. Luis Veto replaced Eduardo Illan. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after All Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Luis Andino drilling the ball in to score 0-6 behind All Boys's goalkeeper. Mauro Montay came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Mauro Montay made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Montay was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 95 minutes into the match, All Boys's goalkeeper Mauro Montay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than All Boys throughout the match.
