Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gio Moreno kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gio Moreno in the 6th minute. Hipólito Neto struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algoso Warriors. Gio Moreno succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. Gio Moreno hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipólito Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Efrain Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Algoso Warriors booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gio Moreno went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Hipólito Neto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 3-0. 34 minutes into the game, Gio Moreno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Gio Moreno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Hipólito Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Hipólito Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 38th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Algoso Warriors's Gio Moreno. But to his dismay, Gio Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Hipólito Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gio Moreno in the 51st minute of play. When Algoso Warriors's Gio Moreno, in the 52nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Algoso Warriors. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gio Moreno in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Hipólito Neto came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gio Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gio Moreno in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gio Moreno in the 73rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipólito Neto took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Algoso Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Gio Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Algoso Warriors's Gio Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Algoso Warriors's Hipólito Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Algoso Warriors were the better team. Algoso Warriors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
