Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbigniew Laba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Proca, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Bartosz Bentkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Zbigniew Laba made a huge save. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbigniew Laba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Labus in the 72nd minute of play. Zbigniew Laba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 79th minute. White Star Troopers made a substitution. Bartlomiej Ludwiczak replaced Ludomil Zaremba. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute. Mexico's Luca Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zbigniew Laba in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo León in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Bartosz Bentkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. White Star Troopers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Jastrowicz in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
