An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 5th minute of play forced La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Marc-André Grifoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc-André Grifoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Marc-André Grifoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 25th minute of play. Marc-André Grifoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Du Jian Chen in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marc-André Grifoll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Policarpio got free with Thiago Pliego in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jose Policarpio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the La Mora CAT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Policarpio couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc-André Grifoll narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Policarpio was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Pliego didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Mora CAT's Jose Policarpio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 62nd minute, Orlando Casaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Tato Feria replaced Alarico Trinidad. Severino Coutinho's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Severino Coutinho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Nader Shehta fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mora CAT's protests and gave Nader Shehta a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes La Mora CAT got a freekick which was hit by Nader Shehta. Marc-André Grifoll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc-André Grifoll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. La Mora CAT's Sebastian Bergdal was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaucho. 94 minutes into the match, Sebastian Bergdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Bergdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
