Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Lupere FC - DMZ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sermet Tacal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Sermet Tacal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the game, Sermet Tacal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Sermet Tacal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Sermet Tacal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 6-0 after 24 minutes of play. Fabrício Jardel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Lupere FC - DMZ's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sermet Tacal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the match, Alan das Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 7-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Tacal in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sermet Tacal in the 41st minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sermet Tacal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Sermet Tacal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sermet Tacal to strike the kick off in the second half. Sermet Tacal took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Sermet Tacal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Sermet Tacal notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lupere FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laerte Torres took the corner. The corner ended in Laerte Torres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. After 66 minutes of play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Sermet Tacal sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 72nd minute, Sermet Tacal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. After 75 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. Lupere FC - DMZ's Ciro Di Croce was substituted for Alan das Neves. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 78th minute. Laerte Torres, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sermet Tacal's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Sermet Tacal took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. If Sermet Tacal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal. But to his dismay, Sermet Tacal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. In the 90th minute, Sermet Tacal made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Lupere FC - DMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
