Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Phil Porter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 3rdth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC LIVERPOOL's Phil Porter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Pere Montaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phil Porter came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phil Porter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 14th minute of the match. When Ecuador's Luis Andino, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Pere Montaña put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Ursus Martin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Pere Montaña sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Evert Wahlnäs made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Phil Porter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Wiseman in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phil Porter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 65th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Phil Porter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pere Montaña in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Pere Montaña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pere Montaña took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 94th minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but FC LIVERPOOL were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
