Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Egoi in the 3rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Echeverri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 6th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Narciso Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cable a Tierra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Mercurio in the 10th minute. Saverio Mercurio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Leonides Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Telesforo. Cable a Tierra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Leonides Telesforo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Telesforo having to interfere. Leonides Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Betão Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cable a Tierra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Betão Prestes hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Gavino Egoi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Telesforo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cable a Tierra. 45 minutes into the game, Narciso Bertassi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Bertassi to make the kick off. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Narciso Bertassi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. In the 61st minute, Narciso Bertassi made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 65th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Bertassi in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cable a Tierra from getting a goal against them. Leonides Telesforo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Claudio Echeverri scored 5-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Gavino Egoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot.
