The crowd rose to their feet as Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. After 24 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Tinoco who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Zé Tinoco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Bule in the 25th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. Iwan Bule might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iwan Bule ran back to his position shaking his head. The Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dennis Matteucci's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Matteucci helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Matteucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Erkin Canay was substituted for Aytekin Ciner. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Iwan Bule managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Bule was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
