Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Behe Ruisuarez:s penalty. Mesere's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anatoli Búnev in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Edgard Maya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cai Fei Cheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behe Ruisuarez in the 27th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cai Fei Cheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute. Inko Sagrario's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Maya did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Thiago Pliego 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Mesere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ventzislav Slúnchev to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cai Fei Cheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesere's goalkeeper Cai Fei Cheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cai Fei Cheng was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Orlando Casaus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Casaus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Xavier Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mesere made a substitution. Mustafa Emrah Vahip replaced Placido Trabado. When Mesere's Edgard Maya in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
