Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven Keller kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sander Heubach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Axel Tasis fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Axel Tasis a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 10th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Eelco Lanting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Dukaton f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriaan Rekers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ger van Zijderveld to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eelco Lanting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eelco Lanting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Dukaton f.c. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Stijn Lambers hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques Roordink in the 33rd minute of play. Stijn Lambers's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stijn Lambers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dukaton f.c.'s Stijn Lambers got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Axel Tasis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eelco Lanting showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 37 minutes Dukaton f.c.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Dukaton f.c.'s Sander Heubach got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arjan Zoontjens in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Arjan Zoontjens made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 60 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dukaton f.c. the free kick. Dukaton f.c. made a substitution. Jonathan Cohen replaced Klaas Jan Oevermans. In the 61st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Arjan Zoontjens came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Dukaton f.c.'s Arjan Zoontjens. But to his dismay, Arjan Zoontjens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Stijn Lambers was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Stijn Lambers kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Dukaton f.c. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dukaton f.c.'s zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eelco Lanting came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Sven Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Dukaton f.c. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
