Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Isaias Gaitano hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Miguel Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 5th minute of play. Miguel Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Fonda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Fonda in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Miguel Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Boca Jrs MdP's goalkeeper Miguel Gonzales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaias Gaitano in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Gaitano's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauricio Fonda was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Boca Jrs MdP's players had a chance to rest. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Mauricio Fonda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Miguel Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mauricio Fonda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Mauricio Fonda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Miguel Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Gaitano got free with Julio Vera in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Gaitano in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Gaitano in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Roberto Aureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Gaitano in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Miguel Gonzales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save CA Boca Jrs MdP from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Miguel Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs MdP getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Diego Cagna hit a great ball. With a little luck, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Miguel Gonzales got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Aureo in the 90th minute of play. If Isaias Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
