When Clemente Oalo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the C.A.U.V.K fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Oalo couldn't finish the play. Niceto Crescencio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. In the 18th play minute Niceto Crescencio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Cotilla. 1-0. After 23 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Oalo in the 24th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eloy Jurgi who took care of the corner kick. Teobaldo Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The shot was stopped by Marcos Cotilla but with some difficulty. After having played for 42 minutes, Niceto Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.U.V.K's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Crescencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, C.A.U.V.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Raphael. C.A.U.V.K's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Teobaldo Raphael was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for C.A.U.V.K through an amazing save. After 63 played minutes C.A.U.V.K got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Sancho. Cornelio Sancho hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cristobal Tanio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71stth minute of the game Guaberto Roldan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Abraham Alguacil could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Teobaldo Raphael however easily saved by the left post. After 76 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobaldo Raphael was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobaldo Raphael came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Raphael having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, C.A.U.V.K's goalkeeper Teobaldo Raphael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. In the 94th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teobaldo Raphael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute Niceto Crescencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Raphael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 96th minute. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
