Dimitar Ivankov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 13th minute of the match. 宋希卫 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Esteves came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Samuel Esteves scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-1. Samuel Esteves succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Esteves in the 43rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Samuel Esteves sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Esteves in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Samuel Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 63 played minutes 【AC】★御剑堂★癫猫 got a freekick which was hit by 卓建斐. If Samuel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 卓建斐 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by 顾诚磊 with Samuel Esteves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Esteves in the 75th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by 【AC】★御剑堂★癫猫's Samuel Esteves. But to his dismay, Samuel Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Guillermo Mariano made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 【AC】★御剑堂★癫猫's 彭浩阳. After 85 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute of the game Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in which Tomas Illescas played forward. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
