With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Astor Tono tried to sneak it across the goal line. Epifanio Pasqual hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Montae having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Alguacil in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Panama booed when Pegaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 46th minute of play. The Pegaso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Montae had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Sarmiento in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Montae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, one of Pegaso FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Valentin Montae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. With 73 minutes on the clock, Rodrigo Colon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pegaso FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute, Panama got a penalty, and Abraham Alguacil placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After a rather tough play, Pegaso FC's Vladimiro Mingo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Miguel Miralles struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Valentin Montae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 83rd minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87thth minute of the game Isidoro Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegaso FC's Valentin Montae was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Efrain Beltran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pegaso FC's Efrain Beltran got a free kick in the 88th minute. The Pegaso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Montae should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Estefania Rasgado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Montae. That made the score 0-6 in the 95 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 100th minute. After 101 played minutes, Pegaso FC's Feliberto Rameriz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pegaso FC reached it. The Pegaso FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
