Tigres Paulista's goalkeeper Pedro Rudolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Rudolfo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Rudolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The S.C. Tigres Paulista fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
