San Mauro A Mare FC's Fabinho Bastos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jax Williamson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter George in the 7th minute of play forced San Mauro A Mare FC's goalkeeper Rogério Mitovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Canada's Luka Harris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Mitovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levent Hicran got free with Jax Williamson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 39th minute. The throw-in from Augusto Riso in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Canada's Eric Hill. Jan Dixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Mitovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Dixon ran back to his position shaking his head.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koby Wright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan Dixon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Rogério Mitovski made a huge save. Canada were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
