Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Pegaso FC defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Montae. The Pegaso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Montae should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Efrain Beltran sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Pegaso FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Montae came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Rameriz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. A collision led to Pegaso FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vladimiro Mingo hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Montae having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Quico to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pegaso FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fulgencio Dominic hit a great ball. After 46 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Montae was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Tono made a kick off. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Dominic to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Fulgencio Dominic with Efrain Beltran as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fulgencio Dominic's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Dominic helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Fulgencio Dominic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Valentin Montae managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Valentin Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Feliberto Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Venezuela played a much better game than Pegaso FC and deserved their victory. The Pegaso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
