Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kent Stuckens kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maximino Cesario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita took a good shot, in the 6th minute, which hit the crossbar above Maximino Cesario's head, and flew over the goal. La masia's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Ecuador. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Gustavsson. Maximino Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Maximino Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. The corner ended in Felix Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La masia's Maximino Cesario did a great save. 26 minutes into the match, La masia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Maximino Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximino Cesario quite easily take care of the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kent Stuckens was slow to take the kick. During this time La masia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led La masia's Sam Hartlang to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Maximino Cesario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a defensive mix-up in La masia's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Cesario came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Gustavsson in the 44th minute. La masia were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kent Stuckens took the corner. After taking down the ball on La masia's corner Kent Stuckens fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Maximino Cesario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Georg Gustavsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Georg Gustavsson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wes Lieckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximino Cesario made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Kent Stuckens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La masia and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kent Stuckens hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La masia:s goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by La masia's Kent Stuckens. But to his dismay, Kent Stuckens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play.
