In the 58th minute, Agustin Luix made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Lugano 1 y 2 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Luix might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustin Luix ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Lugano 1 y 2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 90 minutes, Severiano Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano 1 y 2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Ugutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Agustin Luix came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Lugano 1 y 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Luix couldn't finish the play. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball.
