Lyons's Marcos Berasko quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wambasther Piqué didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wambasther Piqué kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Jerônimo Vergílio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Quinten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lyons's Joshua Arbi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by João Barone, made in the 9th minute of the game. Luisito Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cavalera in the 16th minute of the match. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Lyons got a corner. Ogro F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Berasko ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lyons's Marcos Berasko to fire away a dangerous shot which Alysson Rezende despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cavalera came free, but Luisito Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cavalera in the 24th minute of play. Luisito Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 44th minute of play. Luisito Quinten came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera. But to his dismay, Igor Cavalera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Cavalera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Cavalera got free with Luisito Quinten in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisito Quinten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cavalera in the 57th minute. Lyons made a substitution. Stig Åkerberg replaced Aurelio Vasco. Lyons's Severo Basualdo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by João Barone in the 63 minute of the game. In the 65th minute Dariusz Roano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lyons getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dariusz Roano hit a great ball. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Mangini replaced Alex Van Halen. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Dan Zimmermann replaced Thomas Lang. In the 70th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Roano to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Mangini in the 71st minute of play. Dariusz Roano scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alysson Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dariusz Roano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alysson Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Dan Zimmermann made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lyons's Luisito Quinten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Severo Basualdo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Zimmermann in the 84th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andréas Stenkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alysson Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ogro F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
