The throw-in from Moises Gayoso in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vaqueteros FC's Cai Wei Xu. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Uluğ came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonso Berganza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Vaqueteros FC. Venancio Victoro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolando Noboa. 1-1. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Vaqueteros FC to leave the ground with a draw.
