Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after IKS JEZIORAK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jedrzej Japola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to IKS JEZIORAK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zachariasz Pietras hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jedrzej Japola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jedrzej Japola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Czeslaw Wojtyna might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Czeslaw Wojtyna ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Teofil Ptaszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. IKS JEZIORAK's Devran Yanık was substituted for Leonard Kiszkiel. In the 70th minute, IKS JEZIORAK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Olaf Pleban fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jedrzej Japola, passed just outside the right post. In the 89th minute, Devran Yanık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Konrad Loncki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The IKS JEZIORAK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
