With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oso Prato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Efrain Incendio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Day. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Oso Prato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oso Prato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Cebrian came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Incendio in the 35th minute. Oso Prato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 36th minute of play. Oso Prato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Incendio came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Prato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Cebrian kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oso Prato was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Oso Prato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 54th minute of play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ made a substitution. Benigno Senon replaced Aurelio Cebrian. After 71st play minutes Luis Rius shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Marco Day and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of play forced ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's goalkeeper Oso Prato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
