A A Arizona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Andersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Ingemar Jonasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Oakcroft Thrashers were awarded a corner. Harry Ekeberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Oakcroft Thrashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Ekeberg in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the A A Arizona defense, Anders Andersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hu Zhen Hong. The A A Arizona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hu Zhen Hong should have stopped the shot. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyuboslav Penev, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute of the match, Humberto Bastos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christoffer Modig saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th minute of the match Oakcroft Thrashers got a corner. A A Arizona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harry Ekeberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anders Andersson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Hu Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Holm in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Ingemar Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Holm in the 37th minute of play. When Natã Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the A A Arizona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Pereira couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã Pereira. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lyuboslav Penev to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ludwig Ståhlman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hu Zhen Hong. That made the score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save A A Arizona from getting a goal against them. Hu Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Andersson in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Holm. Hu Zhen Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anders Andersson in the 63rd minute. If Tiago Gabriel de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel de Sousa in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oakcroft Thrashers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
