Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Pedrinho Paranaense hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Roberto Bolt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Felix Luque suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 41 minutes, Rafael Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merusca F&P - CIMZ and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Rafael Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Rafael Couto got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro-Facundo Buffon could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Roberto Bolt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Florian Capasso replaced Rafael Couto. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 89th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Capasso came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
