Kong Gang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute of play. Kong Gang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Panama booed when Cremonese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chu Feng Sang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cremonese FC's zone, Miguel Miralles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kong Gang Zhan came out of the goal and Miguel Miralles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cremonese FC's Kong Gang Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Yasar Bonnemain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kong Gang Zhan having to make a save. Kong Gang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Cosme got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Kong Gang Zhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 57th minute. With his leg Kong Gang Zhan managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Panama's Abraham Alguacil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Arce in the 59th minute of the match. Cremonese FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Branco in the 60th minute. After 60 played minutes Cremonese FC got a freekick which was hit by Yasar Bonnemain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Arce in the 62nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Cosme came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Cremonese FC's Felipe Lara was substituted for Alfredão Cosme. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Batista went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
