Luis Andino hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Rob Kort came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Florian Deuring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biervliet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Deuring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rob Kort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip de Vries could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Filip de Vries managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biervliet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip de Vries was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ab van Zwam in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Biervliet's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rob Kort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 56th minute. Biervliet's Henry Bakker was substituted for Bart Pik. The supporters of Biervliet booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip de Vries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepijn Pepping during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Biervliet's Rob Kort got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rob Kort was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With a little luck, Biervliet's Rob Kort got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Filip de Vries came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Kort made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Rob Kort was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Ecuador played a much better game than Biervliet and deserved their victory. The Biervliet players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
