Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilian Cearense started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Wilian Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tales Siqueira. SeleSantos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pedro Luís Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tales Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Lima in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Siqueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pedro Luís Amorim, made in the 21st minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Cearense in the 22nd minute of play. When Wilian Cearense, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jonathan Ferrant was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tales Siqueira. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber Lima in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tales Siqueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tales Siqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fernandão Paraíba hit a great ball. After 44 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the SeleSantos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tales Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 53 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Lima. The long shot by Camilo Gaos in the 55th minute really tested Tales Siqueira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Pedro Luís Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SeleSantos FC's protests and gave Pedro Luís Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Luís Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tales Siqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Siqueira came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tales Siqueira. That made the score 0-5 in the 79 minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, one of SeleSantos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tales Siqueira. 0-6. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Tales Siqueira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Siqueira came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Venezuela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
