Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) San Marino İdman Yurdu's İnanç Erva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. San Marino İdman Yurdu's Birkan Aşkın managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eliseo Noboa in the 4 minute of the game. If İnanç Erva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suat Erserim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Tasis went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Suat Erserim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Birkan Aşkın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 19 minutes, İnanç Erva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Marino İdman Yurdu's supporters crossed their fingers, but İnanç Erva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suat Erserim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suat Erserim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Yalçın Balıkçıoğlu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yalçın Balıkçıoğlu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of San Marino İdman Yurdu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yalçın Balıkçıoğlu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Yalçın Balıkçıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of San Marino İdman Yurdu booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Suat Erserim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 53rd minute of the match. Rıza Tayfun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Marino İdman Yurdu's Abdullah Taif quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abel Carballo, made in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Axel Tasis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. San Marino İdman Yurdu's attentive Abdullah Taif managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Efrain Moruga with Aaron Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Suat Erserim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Suat Erserim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Alcocer. When the final whistle sounded Costa Rica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Marino İdman Yurdu.
