Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Portuguesa's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorginho Vaz came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes, Afonso Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portuguesa and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorginho Vaz skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 任浩默 got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorginho Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 19th match minute, Portuguesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Jaime Cazalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Holger Zachrisson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Macedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's 任浩默 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Holger Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Francisco Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorginho Vaz. That made the score 2-2 after 56 minutes of play. In the 59th minute Portuguesa were awarded a corner. 任浩默 went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that André Luís Cardozo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's 任浩默 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Jorginho Vaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Portuguesa's 任浩默 in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jorginho Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 任浩默 in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Portuguesa's 任浩默 got a free kick in the 86th minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Portuguesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. 任浩默 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 任浩默 during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Portuguesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. 任浩默 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
