Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cadáveres Voladores's Xavier Salazar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadáveres Voladores the free kick. In the 3rd minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Ye Yan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ye Yan Yu having to interfere. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Ståhlman in the 23rd minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Xavier Salazar sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Xavier Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadáveres Voladores's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Salazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Salazar in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Salazar came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ye Yan Yu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cadáveres Voladores's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ye Yan Yu came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Salazar in the 69th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wenzel Winter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Ståhlman charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birger Ståhlman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 83 minutes into the game, Xavier Salazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Ye Yan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ye Yan Yu made a huge save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball.
