Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Liverpool YnWa's Lucian Ipate started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC Liverpool YnWa booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the FC Liverpool YnWa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Horea Neaga hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Octav Stratulat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 12th minute of play. Dumitru Nedelciu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucian Ipate. Alexandru Anton kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Stratulat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Alexandru Anton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Liverpool YnWa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After 34 played minutes FC Liverpool YnWa got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Anton. Octav Stratulat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC Liverpool YnWa's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Octav Stratulat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octav Stratulat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Anghelescu made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Octavian Beșleaga immediately put the ball in play. After 72 played minutes FC Liverpool YnWa got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Anton. In the 74th minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octav Stratulat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandru Anton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Liverpool YnWa getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dumitru Nedelciu hit a great ball. Alexandru Anton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Costa Rica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Costa Rica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
