Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Godoi kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Paulo Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 9th minute, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Jorginho Ferreira had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Eliseo Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Eliseo Mina got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Godoi in the 20th minute. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Boyisana Mnisi got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Allan Varela. Palestra do Interior's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allan Varela made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Sena hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Niclas Danielsson replaced Hudson Sergipano. After 65 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Sena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 70th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. 75 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Varela. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Peru were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Palestra do Interior's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela did a great save. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Varela was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palestra do Interior's Percival Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Gallo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Allan Varela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eliseo Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Percival Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Palestra do Interior to leave the ground with a draw.
