The audience was convinced that Leon Rik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the last second Marcos Cotilla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leon Rik in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the game, Iustinian Vochin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Rik in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Vochin got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Rik in the 29th minute of the match. Pang Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of play. Pang Yao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pang Yao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The tension between the Eantdit FK and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, one of Eantdit FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eantdit FK. Pang Yao had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 83rd minute, Abraham Alguacil made a precise shot to the right of Pang Yao. Eantdit FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Pang Yao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
