Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Tord Söderqvist sent off a good shot on target. S.C. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Tord Söderqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tord Söderqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Tord Söderqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Coronel Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 34th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Söderqvist. 35 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio de Andrade. Bernardo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Lima had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Abram Sarmiento from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Mosquera in the 57th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Söderqvist in the 63rd minute of the match. S.C. Ferrari's Jerônimo de Alcântara was substituted for Victor Otsando. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 70th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Angelsø to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 73rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to S.C. Ferrari getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Acácio de Andrade hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás. But to his dismay, Gergely Bollobás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Antonio Indiano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gergely Bollobás in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. S.C. Ferrari's Bernardo Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Ferrari from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 98th minute of play. S.C. Ferrari were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
