Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Luís Gustavo Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronaldão Mineiro in the 11 minute of the game. Luís Gustavo Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of A.F. Pindamonhangaba booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Lekubegi, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lorenzo Osasun scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Luís Gustavo Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lorenzo Osasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lorenzo Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Lorenzo Osasun took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Cunha came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes of play, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Luís Gustavo Cunha made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ronaldão Mineiro. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Luís Gustavo Cunha sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute, Luís Gustavo Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gustavo Cunha's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ronaldão Mineiro. Luís Gustavo Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Cunha notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Gustavo Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 80 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciriaco Lekubegi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ciriaco Lekubegi to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lorenzo Osasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lorenzo Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Cunha in the 86th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Cunha in the 89th minute of play. If Manfredo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Osasun in the 94th minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
