Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Igor Batuecas made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. After 13 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ibon Duarte who took care of the corner kick. Robert Bresson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Reyes in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 39th minute of play forced INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Robert Bresson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mina notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of INTOCABLES 2oo4's Robert Bresson. Robert Bresson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Saz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Gerson Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Gerson Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of play forced INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Robert Bresson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTOCABLES 2oo4's Sergi Aguado was substituted for Mahmoud Alaba. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoj Espinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, INTOCABLES 2oo4's Igor Batuecas got a free kick in the 84th minute. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 85th match minute, INTOCABLES 2oo4 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Batuecas to maneuver through the defense. Robert Bresson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Manoj Espinosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, INTOCABLES 2oo4's Robert Bresson got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The INTOCABLES 2oo4 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
