Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Marteinn Palermo made the kick off and thus started the match. Marteinn Palermo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 3 minutes into the match. Victoriano Edwardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Erauso having to make a save. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Pastor Azibar came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marteinn Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Unión Florida's supporters rose to their feet, but Marteinn Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Marteinn Palermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play forced Atlético Unión Florida's goalkeeper Saul Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Musko, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pastor Azibar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Marteinn Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Erauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marteinn Palermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Saul Erauso made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 56thth minute of the game Marteinn Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Atlético Unión Florida defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Erauso. The Atlético Unión Florida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Erauso should have stopped the shot. Atlético Unión Florida made a substitution. Narciso Rufo replaced Pastor Azibar. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saverio Atarratze was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Unión Florida's players had a chance to rest. Alexis Roussounelos made a great header on Atlético Unión Florida's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The Atlético Unión Florida fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Atlético Unión Florida's Poz Maeztu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81stth minute of the game Poz Maeztu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Atlético Unión Florida defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Erauso. The Atlético Unión Florida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Erauso should have stopped the shot. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Unión Florida's Poz Maeztu. But to his dismay, Poz Maeztu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Atlético Unión Florida were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
