After 6 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafino Aguilera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. The audience was convinced that Pascual Carballar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Aguilera was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Serafino Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 21st minute of play. Menchu FC's Serafino Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 39th minute of play. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafino Aguilera came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Mastache slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Abram Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siro Eufemio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 minutes, Epifanio Mirande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menchu FC and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Epifanio Mirande hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Serafino Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Serafino Aguilera threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But to his dismay, Siro Eufemio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 87th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Serafino Aguilera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Menchu FC through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Chucho in the 88th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Serafino Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Kevin Mastache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafino Aguilera. Kevin Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 95th minute, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Colombia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
