Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elizardo Massana kicked off to start the match. In the 13th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordairo Segura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Oliverio Cavallosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. Carqueja's Cordairo Segura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play. Cordairo Segura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverio Cavallosa came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Cordairo Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Vielva came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Vielva in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Cordairo Segura in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Cordairo Segura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enmanuel Herdozain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Vielva in the 70th minute of play. Mario Vielva took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverio Cavallosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 76th minute. Carqueja made a substitution. Tiago Zotillo replaced Oliverio Cavallosa. In the 78th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Cordairo Segura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of the match. Cordairo Segura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 87th minute of play. Carqueja's Cordairo Segura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Carqueja from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the game, Ereinotz Masbernat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carqueja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ereinotz Masbernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
