Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Tocantinópolis EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henk Latomme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Pliego came out and tried to block the shot, but Henk Latomme slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Tocantinópolis EC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Hélio Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tocantinópolis EC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Gomes. The Tocantinópolis EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Gomes should have stopped the shot. After 22 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélio Gomes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélio Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Gomes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chile's Orlando Casaus got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hélio Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélio Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute of play. Amauri Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Hélio Gomes came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Orlando Casaus. But to his dismay, Orlando Casaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Bagge was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After some careless play in the Tocantinópolis EC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Gomes. The Tocantinópolis EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Gomes should have stopped the shot. Tocantinópolis EC's Marcelo Ortiz was substituted for Silvano Abechuco. In the 62ndth minute of the game Michel Bagge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Bagge in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Chile's Orlando Casaus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. Tocantinópolis EC's Hélio Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Tocantinópolis EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tocantinópolis EC's Hélio Gomes did a great save. 80 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 3-8, to the right of Tocantinópolis EC's Hélio Gomes. Hélio Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélio Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Latomme in the 86th minute of the match. Hélio Gomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Vargas in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 3-9, to the right of Tocantinópolis EC's Hélio Gomes. Hélio Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélio Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
