Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Alexandrino Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Amável Brochado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Peru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, MAKRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Manso to maneuver through the defense. Amável Brochado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Victorino Peru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amável Brochado having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Amável Brochado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 29th minute of play forced MAKRO's goalkeeper Amável Brochado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Peru. In the 31st minute, Victorino Peru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAKRO's goalkeeper Amável Brochado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MAKRO's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amável Brochado came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Amável Brochado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amável Brochado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The MAKRO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Amável Brochado however easily saved by the left post. Amável Brochado made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Peru in the 55th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Pozorski in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MAKRO's Karsten Telkamp got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the MAKRO defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amável Brochado. The MAKRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amável Brochado should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amável Brochado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amável Brochado. That made the score 1-5 after 74 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Amável Brochado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to MAKRO getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Silvério Torcato hit a great ball. With his leg Amável Brochado managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. MAKRO's Amável Brochado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save MAKRO from getting a goal against them. Amável Brochado came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
