Lautaro Martinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lion Messi in the 23rd minute of play. Lion Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The La Scaloneta fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when La Scaloneta's Lautaro Martinez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Tomas Illescas scored 3-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dibag Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Lion Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Paredes got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, La Scaloneta's Leandro Paredes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lion Messi made a kick off. Lion Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Lautaro Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lion Messi in the 60th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Dibag Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. La Scaloneta made a substitution. Julián Álvarez replaced Lion Messi. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Martinez's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 94th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Julián Álvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Scaloneta fully deserved thier win.
