The supporters of Mexico booed when The Irons Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pawel Kochanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Maciej Bartelak sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. The Irons Chorzów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that The Irons Chorzów's Piotr Lech managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of The Irons Chorzów booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Gaona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Bartelak made a kick off. If Patryk Snaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Patryk Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Rutkowski in the 56th minute of the match. Patryk Snaza's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patryk Snaza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Snaza to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Piotr Lech made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Piotr Lech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute, Patryk Snaza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Irons Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maciej Bartelak in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Piotr Lech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90thth minute of the game Alfred Babicki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes of play The Irons Chorzów's Patryk Snaza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Patryk Snaza kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
