Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Migolla in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Toader Tinu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Toader Tinu showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's Gabríel Batistuta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. Toader Tinu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabríel Batistuta was slow to take the kick. During this time BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's players had a chance to rest. The corner led BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's Gabríel Batistuta to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Tinu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Tinu came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Migolla in the 41st minute of the match. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's goalkeeper Toader Tinu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
