The shot was stopped by Benito Sanz but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Guillermo Bidun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Gonzalo Taibo got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gonzalo Taibo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A very good chance for a goal. If Guillermo Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. 四川攀枝花掠夺者联队's 龙广磊 was substituted for Clarence Telebanco. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 龙广磊 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 鲁树梁's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 鲁树梁 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, 鲁树梁 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Bidun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. A very good chance. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. 姚兴杰 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. In the 89th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Bidun in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After 93 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. 龙广磊 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the 四川攀枝花掠夺者联队 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
