Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ALASKU TSG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garip Kadrican didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced ALASKU TSG's goalkeeper Francisco Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tunç Akkaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garip Kadrican, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Francisco Barrionuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 18th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ALASKU TSG's Korkut Yafes was substituted for Ali Asım Mülayim. In the 19th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Garip Kadrican sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ALASKU TSG's Francisco Barrionuevo. Francisco Barrionuevo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, ALASKU TSG's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Francisco Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ALASKU TSG's Korkut Yafes. If Tunç Akkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With 45 minutes on the clock, Antonio Arias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tunç Akkaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Tunç Akkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tunç Akkaya's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Francisco Barrionuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Francisco Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Francisco Barrionuevo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Barrionuevo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, ALASKU TSG's Tunç Akkaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play. Francisco Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALASKU TSG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes in the game, Luis Andino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Francisco Barrionuevo having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The ALASKU TSG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
