Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. PANTERA NEGRA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced PANTERA NEGRA's goalkeeper Joachim Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, PANTERA NEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Aver to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joachim Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Abancens came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Tatangelo got free with Julio Vera in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Tatangelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. PANTERA NEGRA's Joachim Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PANTERA NEGRA's Joachim Macías. Joachim Macías was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th match minute, PANTERA NEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Aver to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes PANTERA NEGRA got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Durango.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Joachim Macías in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Tatangelo in the 51st minute of the match. Joachim Macías made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind PANTERA NEGRA's goalkeeper Joachim Macías, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, PANTERA NEGRA's goalkeeper Joachim Macías had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 64th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PANTERA NEGRA's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PANTERA NEGRA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Joachim Macías in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Román Garrido in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PANTERA NEGRA's Eneto Redondo was substituted for Ramón Durango. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by PANTERA NEGRA's Lobo Estruch. But to his dismay, Lobo Estruch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, PANTERA NEGRA's Claus Macia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PANTERA NEGRA reached it. In the 84th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joachim Macías was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute, Román Garrido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 88th minute, Nuno Fonticoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Román Garrido in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When PANTERA NEGRA's Román Garrido in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because PANTERA NEGRA had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
